Calligraphy Stone Earrings

This unusual stone is called ‘calligraphy stone’. It’s unusual pattern is formed from fossilized shells, bones, and vegetation from an ancient swamp. I just love the little scribbles and to think, it was alive is pretty cool too.

Made with yellow gold fill wire and accented with hematite beads.
